Letter from Leicestershire County CouncilThurlaston Lane will be closed for a duration of up to two weeks which is programmed to commence on 8th September 2008.
The closure is to allow the diversion of the exisiting road over the newly constructed Thurlaston Lane Bridge.
To ensure safety of road users and the workforce, it will be necessary to close the road. A temporary diversion route will be in place for the duration of the works, and for which advance warning signs will be set up approximately two weeks prior to the start date. pedestrian access across the bridge will also be maintained at all times.
It is inevitable that some inevitable that some inconvenience will be caused during the works, but every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.
