07/10/2008 - Citizens Panel; The Place Survey |
The Place Survey A survey is being delivered to thousands of homes across the County this autumn to find out how to make the area a better place to live. The recipients, selected at random, have until 19 December to complete the 'Place Survey'. It asks for views on the following:
• What makes your area a good place to live? • What most needs improving? • Are you satisfied with public services? • How much do you get involved in your community?
The survey is being carried out in conjunction with the county council and district councils, in line with new Government requirements.
The Place Survey is a new consultation that all local authorities are required to carry out every two years. The Place Survey had been developed as part of a new focus on improving outcomes for local people and places. Residential addresses will be selected at random (6,000 in the Borough), so you may be receiving a survey through your door from 25 September.
